Our Application Process

To be considered as an applicant for one of our rentals, please carefully the following instructions carefully.

1. Attend Open House

No "sight unseen" rentals; visit the property.

2. Complete Application

Fill out the first three pages for each adult and cosigner.

3. Obtain Credit Report & Scores

Include your credit report from a company like AnnualCreditReport.com or a similar provider, along with ALL THREE individual credit scores from TransUnion, Equifax, and Experian with your application.

A. Definitions: Credit report and scores are separate but related components of your credit profile. The credit report is a history and detailed record of your borrowing and repayment activities, including loans, credit cards, and other debts. The credit scores are numerical values calculated based on the information in your credit history. There are three major credit bureaus (TransUnion, Equifax, and Experian) that each generate their own credit score.

B. For the application process, use Credit Reports up to 30 days old from AnnualCreditReport.com or a credit agency.

C. Credit Scores can be obtained for free from CreditKarma.com and Experian.com.

4. Submit Application

Email application, credit history, and scores to info@success.rentals with subject line: "Completed Application for [Property] , [Applicant Names]."

Summary of Rental Qualifications and Application Process

Required Information:

Government issued ID and proof of income (3 most recent pay stubs, 6 month bank statements, tax returns, voucher, award letter, etc.).

Landlord contact info for last 3 years.

All adults aged 18+ must apply & pay a $30 app fee (non-refundable).

Common Reasons to be Declined

Incomplete application, evictions, collections from landlords, credit score below 600, insufficient income, and unqualified occupants.

Within the last 7 years, any felonies of illegal manufacture or distribution of a controlled substance, felonies resulting in bodily harm or intentional damage or destruction of property for example, "arson".

Any sexual related offenses.
