Move-in Checklist

First Month's Rent & Security Deposit
You'll need to pay your first month's rent and and your security deposit to secure your lease. Please confirm these amounts with us before the lease signing.

Move-in Date & Inspection
We will provide all information about your move-in and initial inspection visit at the lease signing.

Utilities
Utility accounts need to be placed in your name immediately following the lease signing. Failure to promptly set these accounts u may cause you to lose temporary access to your utilities; you will be responsible for any fees associated with restoring access. 

Move-out Checklist

Notice of Intent to Vacate
Planning to move out of your rental home? You'll need to provide us with with written notice of your intent to vacate your home, in accordance with the terms of your lease.

Property Condition
Before handing in the keys for your rental property, please make sure you bring the unit back to rent-ready condition. This involves the following:

Rental Cleaning: Start by decluttering and packing your belongings, then tackle each room systematically. Dust surfaces, wipe down countertops, and clean appliances inside and out. Scrub bathrooms, including the toilet, shower, and sink. Vacuum or mop floors, paying attention to corners and baseboards. Finally, clean windows, blinds, and light fixtures.

Landscaping & Outdoor Areas: If you have outdoor space where you routinely address landscaping chores, please take care of these once more before vacating the premises.

Repairs: Be sure to address any necessary repairs before handing in your keys. This may involve patching nail and screw holes, repainting discolored walls, and replacing any broken glass.

Security Deposit
We will perform a final inspection after you move out. If we identify any unaddressed damages, we will schedule repairs and deduct the associated costs from your security deposit. The remainder will be returned to you with an itemized statement. 

Please note, you cannot use your deposit to pay your final rent payment. Failure to pay your rent may result in legal action, fees, and adverse credit reporting.
